2013 Junior Guide' School

The Nova Scotia Guide's Association is host to a five-day Junior Guide' School which trains youth (ages 12-17) in:

  • Conservation and ecology
  • Fishing and hunting basics
  • GPS, map and compass
  • Wilderness survival and first aid
  • Canoeing and water safety
  • Tenting and outdoor cooking
  • Woodlore and woodsmen sports

The 2013 Junior Guide' School will be held from Sunday, July 14th - Friday, July 19th.

 

Please join us for the “Junior/Intermediate Guides Competition 2013” July 20th & 21st with registration from 6 - 7pm Friday July 19th. A weekend of friendly competition using some of the skills taught during the Guides School Week.


The Junior Guide' School is a popular program and space is limited. Registration is $126.50 HST included. Completed application forms should be received by the Association no later than May 31, 2013.
