Junior Guide' School
The Nova Scotia Guide's Association is host to a five-day Junior Guide' School each year in July to train youth (ages 12-17) in:
- Conservation and ecology
- Fishing and hunting basics
- GPS, map and compass
- Wilderness survival and first aid
- Canoeing and water safety
- Tenting and outdoor cooking
- Woodlore and woodsmen sports
Join us for the “Junior/Intermediate Guides Competition 2011” July 15th & 16Th with registration from 6 - 7pm Friday July 15th. A weekend of friendly competition using some of the skills taught during the Guides School Week.
The Junior Guide' School is a popular program and space is limited. Registration is $126.50 HST included.
Completed application forms should be received by the Association no later than May each year.
